Bernadine "Babe" Manghisi, 82, of Metuchen, passed away at home on May 29, 2014. She was born in Newark on November 15, 1931. Babe has resided in Metuchen for the last 40 years, prior to that she lived in Newark, where she graduated from West Side High School. She was a homemaker and a communicant of St. Francis Cathedral. In the 1950's she was a recording artist, singing for The Four Lovers with Frankie Valle and Little Richard. Babe enjoyed playing soft ball and watching Bruce Lee movies,

She was predeceased by her husband Don Manghisi in 2005.

She is survived by her son, John Manghisi of Metuchen and her daughter, Karen Manghisi of Tinton Falls.

Visitation will be Sunday 4-6 pm at the Flynn and Son/ Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, NJ 08840. Funeral Services will be Monday at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Metuchen.
