Our beloved Barbara Warren, 84, of Perth Amboy, passed away on February 28, 2023, at Raritan Bay Medical Center. She was born on March 10, 1938, in Passaic and graduated in 1956 from St. Mary's High School in Rutherford. Barbara worked as a secretary for the Perth Amboy Dry Dock for over 20 years. Barbara was warm and vivacious. She pulled others into her orbit, caring for friends and neighbors like family. Young at heart, she relished traveling the world with her husband and exploring new places. Barbara had a unique gift for bringing people together, and she gave so many a place to call home. A true matriarch, Barbara was never happier than when playing host and cooking for her children and grandchildren. Those who knew her will remember her impish sense of humor, her thoughtful check-ins, and her Easter pizzagaina. She touched so many and will be missed as deeply as she was loved.

She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Charles Warren, in 2011, and two brothers, Mathias, and Edward Spohn. Barbara is survived by two cherished daughters, Janice Cerasani, and her husband, Monty, of Colonia; Linda Lamprinakos, and her husband, James, of Holmdel; a son, Douglas Warren; six grandchildren: Brianna, Catrina, Angelina and Armando Cerasani, Paul Lamprinakos, Nicole Illuzzi, and one great-grandchild, Demi Illuzzi. A funeral service will be held in the Mausoleum Chapel in St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia on Friday, March 3, 2023, at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow.
