Barbara A. Reilly passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022, at Alarais Health at Riverton in Rahway.

Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John Frederick and Barbara Brunner Carle. After her marriage to Francis X. Reilly, they made Fords their home until moving to Avenel in 2019.  A loving mother and grandma, Barbara often volunteered at school functions.  She was also involved with the Girl Scouts as a helper and a leader.  When she wasn't helping her children with school or activities she enjoyed drawing, oil painting, crocheting and sewing.  She will always be remembered as a very generous woman who lived in service to others.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband, Francis, in 2001 and a sister, Louise Carle.  She is survived by her daughter, April Reilly; sons, Frank his wife, Debbie and Henry Carle; sisters: Shirley, Bev, Susan; brothers, Joey and Glenn; and many nieces, nephews, and Godchildren.

Cremation will take place privately.  Arrangements are under the direction of Flynn and Son Funeral Home, Fords, NJ.
