Barbara Florence "Bobbi" "Mimi" Kappes (nee. Myerson), 80, of Edison, passed away on May 20, 2021. Barbara was born in San Francisco, California on September 8, 1940.  Barbara was a retired purchasing agent for Rutgers University for 32 years at the RAC in Piscataway. She loved the beach, convertibles, spending time with family and friends, and attending Rutgers sporting events.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Irving and Johanna Myerson (nee Saatman)

Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Bernard Kappes; her four sons, Brian and his wife, Linda, Bruce and his wife, Maryann, Bernard Jr. and his wife, Diane, and Barry and his wife, Lisa; three grandchildren, Corey, Shelby and Ryan; her brother, Richard A. Myerson.

Visitation for Barbara will be held from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Monday, May 24 ^th , 2021 at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave, Metuchen NJ 08840. Prayer service will be held at 3:30 PM during visitation.
