Barbara Ann Lorfing, 80, of Pawleys Island, SC, entered into eternal rest, Saturday September 1, 2018 at Waccamaw Hospital in Murrells Inlet, SC.

Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, she was the daughter of the late George and Agnes Tice.  After marriage, Barbara and Richard raised their family in Old Bridge.  They later retired to Toms River, and Pawleys Island, SC.  Both Barbara and her husband Richard retired from Verizon.

Survivors include Richard Lorfing, her loving husband of 63 years; her children, Richard J. Lorfing and his wife Sharon, Jane Messineo and her husband John, and Jill Lorfing and her husband Robert Zuercher.  She was the loving grandmother to Richard Lorfing, Christina Lorfing, Kyle Lorfing and Elizabeth Colwell.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords.  Entombment will be in Clover Leaf Memorial Park Mausoleum.
