Barbara Rose Kelley 91, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Roosevelt Care Center in Edison.

She was born and raised in Woodbridge, the daughter of William and Alice Jorgenson Thompson.  She attended Drake's Secretarial College in Elizabeth. Barbara spent her career working for JFK Medical Center in Edison where she was the secretary for the Pathology Dept. for 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Kelley and daughter Eileen Patricia Kelley in 2009, her daughter Susan Ann Kelley in 2020, and granddaughter Amanda Marie DeAngelis in 2022. She was also predeceased by her brother William "Bud" Thompson.

She is survived by her daughter Barbara Sileo; granddaughters Ashley Rose Sileo, and Ariel Ann Machalany; and great-grandchildren Payton Romero-Sileo, Gia Bella Rose and Tony Nassif Machalany.

Friends may call at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 4:00pm – 8:00pm where services will be offered on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 11:30am.  Interment will follow in Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.
