Barbara Holzhauer, age 68, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, June 27, 2026 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.

Born in Yonkers, NY on March 30, 1958 to Charles and Joanne Henning, Barbara has lived in Edison since 1998. Barbara worked as a speech pathologist for the Middlesex County Educational Services Commission.

Barbara is predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard Holzhauer (2012).

Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 2, 2026 between the hours of 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Flynn and Son / Koyen Funeral home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, NJ 08840. Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara’s memory may be made out to a charitable cause.
