Barbara Louise Hodan, 83, of Fords, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 at Venetian Care & Rehabilitation Center in South Amboy. Mrs. Hodan was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Cecil and Polly Dee Williams and had previously lived in Norfolk, VA and had resided in Fords for the last sixty two years. Mrs. Hodan was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker.

She was a member of the Magyar Reformed Church of Perth Amboy.

Barbara was predeceased by her beloved husband Richard in 2002 and also by her brother Buster Bill Williams, and her three sisters; Mildred Manatis, Norma Ames and Ruth Summers.

She is survived by her loving son: Richard Hodan and wife Michele of Fords, her brother: T.C. Williams of Virginia Beach, VA, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 11:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Hopelawn. Visitation hours will be held Thursday morning from 9 am to 11 am.
