Barbara Fazio Higgins' Obituary
Barbara Fazio Higgins, 58, of Edison entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at the Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark.
Barbara was born in Bayonne and has resided in Edison for the past 36 years. She was a nurse at Carrier Clinic in Belle Meade. Barbara was a graduate of Edison High School and loved to play poker.
She was predeceased by her sister, Karen Foster. She is survived by her husband Michael; her children, Joseph and Stacey Higgins of Edison and Dana Higgins of Fords; her sister, Christine Blackford and her grandson Michael Popola.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 22, from 2:00-4:00 pm at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen. A prayer service will be offered during the visiting period.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to the American Heart Association.
