Barbara Golden, 64, of Fords, passed away on August 16, 2020, at JFK Medical Center. She was born in Jersey City on August 15, 1956. She had resided in Carteret for many years before moving to Fords. Barbara was retired from the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, where she was a TCA Manager. Barbara was a graduate of Carteret High School and Middlesex County College. She had a love for bowling and shopping and she enjoyed vacationing in Florida and Cape Cod.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband, William T Golden; parents, Oldrick A. and Helen Horak; her in-laws, Thomas and Mary Golden.

She is survived by her son, William T. Golden Jr. and his wife, Jaimie, of North Brunswick; her granddaughter, Samantha; Brother, Kevin Horak, and his wife, Renee; sister Cathy Mudrick; niece, Amanda; nephews, Justin and Matthew; brothers and sisters in-law: Rose, Michael, Vincent, Annette, and Lisa Golden; step-mother, Victoria Horak; and step-brother, James Squillante, and his wife, Camille.

Visitation will be at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Fords Ave., Fords, NJ 08863, Tuesday, August 18, 2020, 4-8 pm. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in St Gertrude's Cemetery.
