Obituary

Barbara Ann (Toth) Coyle, 78, of Fords, passed away peacefully at her home after a long battle with cancer on Friday, April 11, 2025, surrounded by the love of family and friends. Barbara was born on April 27, 1946, in Fords and was a lifelong resident where she lived two doors down from her childhood home her entire life. She attended Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords where she met the love of her life at the age of 16, husband Joseph Francis Coyle, Jr. Barbara attended Woodbridge High School where she enjoyed being on the twirling team. She retired from Middlesex County College as the International Study Abroad Program Director where she touched the lives of many grateful students who kept in touch with her along the years. Her true devotion was being a wife, mother and in her later years a grandmother when she touted the name "Nunu". Barbara was the rock of her family, a source of unwavering strength and endless love. Her life was a testament to selflessness and devotion, especially to those who knew her. Nothing mattered more to her than her daughters and family whom she loved fiercely and unconditionally. Her wisdom was paramount, her humor lifted everyone and her strength carried everyone through. Everyone who crossed Barbara's path claimed her presence was like an earth angel and treated everyone like they were her own.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Joseph who died just ten months ago, parents, Louis and Marion Toth; son-in-law Norman Schroeder and brother, Louis Toth.

She is survived by three beloved daughters: Colleen Romeo and her husband Anthony; Maureen Schroeder and Sharon Coyle; four cherished grandchildren: Alexandra, Katarina, Mikail and Noah; brother, Thomas Toth,  sister-in-law, Lucy Toth; brother-in-law Timothy Coyle and his wife, Susan  nieces and nephews; her "adopted" son, Alex Lai and her lifelong dearest friends, Ron and Cookie Jarka and Pino and Debbie Picinich who she called the sister she never had. Their bond was one of deep friendship, trust and love that spanned the years.

Upon her passing, her handwritten quote was easily found which read, "Take Comfort in Knowing that LOVE and the circle of LIFE Never Ends". Barbara's LOVE and those she touched during her LIFE lives on forever.
