Barbara Bielinski, 80, passed away on December 23, 2022, at Bayshore Medical Center in Hazlet, NJ.

Born in Perth Amboy on October 18, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Walter Mikrut and Lucy Szybist. Barbara graduated from Perth Amboy High School in 1960 and received her BA from Montclair State University in 1964. She later went on to achieve her MA from Rider University. Barbara was a Business Teacher for the Edison School District for many years and was the tennis coach for the girls' tennis team at Edison High School.  During her retirement years, Barbara and Lance resided on the Outer Banks of NC, where she was a member of St. Egbert's Roman Catholic Church in Morehead City, NC. In her spare time, Barbara loved swimming and spending time at the beach with her family.  Barbara (Ne-Ne to her grandchildren) adored her six grandchildren and was always present to cheer them on and support them throughout their lives.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Lance Bielinski; her son, Brett Bielinski, and his wife Jill; her daughter, Kelly Wolf, and her husband Rich; her six grandchildren: Brett, Kamryn, Richard, Madeline, Kristin, and Kathryn; her four sisters: Patricia Liebig, Gloria Stief, Kathleen Hirsch and Lucille Auchmoody; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved beagle, Pal.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, NJ 08840

Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 10:00 am at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Annandale, NJ, 316 Old Allerton Rd, Annandale, NJ 08801. Interment will follow at the church's cemetery.
