Arthur “Arty” Cadavero, of Edison, New Jersey, passed away at his home on October 16, 2026. He was 76.

Born on April 2, 1950, in Plainfield, New Jersey. Arty was the son of the late Margaret (Caviglia) and Arthur Cadavero, Sr.

Arty was the beloved father of Ronnie Cadavero and his wife, Nichole; John Cadavero and his wife, Amy; and Maggie Cadavero, and the proud grandfather of Brianna, Jared, Brett and Jack Cadavero. He is also survived by his stepchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Arty was a proud member of Iron Workers Local 11 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. At first glance he seemed quiet and stoic, but those who knew him well knew he was always ready with a joke and a good laugh. His warmth was easy to feel, and he found happiness in life's simple pleasures, especially time spent with friends and family. He loved quiet moments in nature, working on cars with his brother, and spending days at car shows and the racetrack with his nephew.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Flynn and Son / Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, New Jersey. A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 7:00 PM. Cremation will be private.
