Arthur Schoemer, 86 years, of the Fords section of Woodbridge Twp., passed peacefully, on Monday, July 14, 2025, at the JFK/Hackensack Meridian Medical Center in Edison.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ on April 2, 1939, he had resided in the Fords section of Woodbridge Twp. for the last 55 years.

He was a retired computer operator for Unisys of Newark, NJ for many years.

Arthur was also a talented carpenter and woodworking craftsman.

He was a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Fords.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Rosita L Schoemer, who died earlier this year, on March 5, 2025 and his beloved parents, Arthur J and Ruby Schoemer.

He leaves behind his two beloved sons, Scott Schoemer and his wife Meghan of Old Bridge, and Marc Schoemer and his wife Lisa, of Pennsylvania.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, from 4- 8 pm at the Flynn and Son/ Mitruska Funeral Home Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.

Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday morning, July 23, 2025 at 10 am, at the First Presbyterian Church of Fords. 89 Hoy Ave Fords, NJ 08863.

Interment will follow in Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Kenilworth, NJ.
