On January 5, 2018 Arthur J. Murray passed away at age 81. Born in Queens, NY, Arthur lived in Lyndhurst, NJ for more than 50 years and spent many happy days with his family and grandchildren in Metuchen NJ. A graduate of Bayside HS, Arthur was a Navy veteran, serving as a Machinists Mate on the USS Cogswell. An electrician for over 30 years, Mr. Murray was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing, and reading US history. He is survived by his loving wife Betty (Kenny), his children, grandchildren, and granddogs. Relatives and friends are invited to visit Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 8:30 am to 9:45 am in Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave. Metuchen, NJ followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:15 am in St. Francis Cathedral Church, 32 Elm Ave Metuchen, NJ. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital (stjude.org).
