Armando Gutierrez, 91, of Perth Amboy passed away on January 14, 2013, surrounded by his family. Born in Pinar Del Rio, Cuba, Armando had lived in Perth Amboy most of his life. He was employed in the Maintenance Department by Berger Industries in Metuchen for 20 years before retiring in 1990. Armando was a communicant of the Blessed John Paul II Parish, St. Mary RC Church, Perth Amboy and a 4th Degree Knight with the San Salvador Council KOC #299, Perth Amboy.

Armando is survived by his wife, Irma (Bomnin), to whom he was married to for 68 years; two daughters, Irma Adan and her husband, Jose, of Fords and Olga Fitzgibbons and her husband, James, of Sewaren; three grandchildren: James and John Fitzgibbons and Marta Adan; a sister, Zenada Gutierrez of Puerto Rico; a sister-in-law, Olga Besu; a brother-in-law, Orlando Bomnin; as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013, at 8:30 AM from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy, followed by a 9 AM Funeral Liturgy at Blessed John Paul II Parish of St. Mary RC Church, Perth Amboy. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
