Arlene F. Porcellana (nee Evans), 73, passed away at home on February 4, 2014. Born in Perth Amboy, she spent most of her life in Fords. She was formerly employed as a Word Processor with Affiliated Engineering Laboratories in Edison. She was a member of the Guys and Dolls Bowling League and served as Secretary to the Family League and the Municipal Bowling League.

Arlene was predeceased by her son, Christopher Porcellana, in 1992 and her sister, Lois Ungvary of Fleetwood, PA.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, John P. Porcellana; her son, Michael E. and his wife Patricia of Hopelawn; daughters: Mary M. Jones and husband, Colin of Monroe, Jennifer M. Wallace and husband, William of Piscataway, Susan L. Bobrowski of Metuchen, and Elizabeth A. Ford of Fords; and her 7 grandchildren: Evan, Emily, Erin, William, Benjamin, Andrew, and Nathaniel.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 10:00 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863 followed by a 10:30 Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords. Interment will be in Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy, NJ. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 6th from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm.
