Antonio Acosta of Perth Amboy died Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Raritan Bay Medical Center.  Born February 3, 1942 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, he resided in Perth Amboy over 40 years.  Antonio was a cook at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy for over 40 years and a communicant of La Asuncion Church. His family said of him, "During his life, he was a devoted husband and an amazing father and grandfather.  He was a great cook, and an avid reader with a vibrant spirit who will live in our hearts forever."

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Solamina Acosta; his parents, Tomasa Olivera Martinez and José Padró Acosta; son, Antonio Jr.; brothers, Santo Acosta, Roberto Acosta, José Acosta and sisters, Gloria Maria Acosta, Rosalinda Acosta, and Amparo Acosta.

Surviving are his daughter, Diana Acosta Quintanilla; sons, Daniel Acosta and Luis Antonio Acosta; grandchildren: Cristian Gabriel, Carlos Javier, Daniel José, Gabriela, Luis Alexander and Ariana; brother Wilfredo Acosta; and godson, Angel Salva.

Friends and family may visit Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at the Flynn and son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy. Funeral Services will take place on Friday, July 18, 2025 starting at the funeral home at 9:00 AM, with a 9:30 AM Funeral Mass at La Asuncion Church, located at 777 Cortland Street, Perth Amboy. Interment will follow in Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy.
