Antonina Roman, 92, of Fords, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Roman was born in Apurimac, Peru to the late Faustino and Carmen Acuna Roman and came to the United States In September, 2014 living in Fords for the last three years.

She was a homemaker. Antonina is survived by her two sons, Alfredo Ramirez and his wife Lucinda of Avenel, and Victor Munoz and his wife Elena of Fords, her two brothers, Paulino Roman and Estanislao Roman, her three sisters, Juliana Roman, Delia Roman and Elena Roman, all in Peru, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 8:30 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Followed by a 9:00 am mass in the Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish - Our Lady of Hungary Church, Perth Amboy. Interment will follow in the Alpine Cemetery in Perth Amboy. Visitation hours will be held Wednesday from 5 to 9 pm.
