Antonietta Gianfrancesco (Bruno) 90, passed away peacefully at home on March 28, 2024, with her family by her side,
She was born in Alife, Italy, on July 10, 1933. She came to the US at the age of 25, where she resided with her husband, in Perth Amboy until 1999, before moving to Hopelawn, NJ.
She was employed at the Raritan Bay Mental Health Center, in Perth Amboy, where she was employed as a housekeeper for 25 years, before retiring in 2018.
She was a Communicant at the Good Shepherd Church (formally Holy Spirit Church) of Hopelawn, NJ.
She was a member of La Societa di Rocomondolfe, Clifton, New Jersey.
Antonietta was preceded by her husband, Liberato Gianfrancesco, who died in 1997.
She leaves behind two daughters, Anna Gianfrancesco, of Hopelawn, and Libby Santino and her husband Ken Santino of Port Reading and her two grandchildren, Michael and Anthony of Port Reading.
She was a devoted friend, caring and loving wife, mother, and grandmother "nonna" whose life was centered around her children and grandchildren.
If she wasn't cooking in the kitchen, you would find her outside working in her garden. She enjoyed Sunday dinners, and spending time with her extended family and friends in "the garage".
She will be missed and always be in her family's hearts and minds.
Visitation will be at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863, Monday, April 1, 2024, 4-8 pm. Funeral services will begin Tuesday 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Liturgy at Holy Rosary Church. Entombment will be in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
