Antiochus "Kiss" Dieudonne August 11, 1954 – October 13, 2026 Antiochus "Kiss" Dieudonne, 72, of Edison, passed away on October 13, 2026, at Brighton Gardens in Edison.

Antiochus was born on August 11, 1954, in Cap-Haïtien, Haiti. He left Haiti for the United States and spent time in Miami before settling in New Jersey, where he built his life and raised his family. His years in Miami turned him into a die-hard Dolphins and Hurricanes fan, and he stayed loyal to both for the rest of his life. On January 26, 1980, he married the love of his life, Marie Jose, and together they shared 46 years of marriage.

Antio worked long days, often six days a week, to provide for his family. He drove a cab both before and during his years in manufacturing at Hayward Industries.

"Kiss" was charismatic and generous, the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back, and he was known for being a sharp dresser. He loved music and hanging out with his friends, and some of his best times were spent shooting pool with his two sons. He was a member of the Church of St. Joseph the Carpenter.

He will be deeply missed for his iconic laugh, his kind heart, and his hard work.

He was predeceased by his parents, Antiochis Dieudonne and Carmen Fils-Aime, and his grandparents, Carmeis and Suzanne Bruno.

Antiochus is survived by his wife of 46 years, Marie Jose Dieudonne, of Edison; two sons, Patrick Dieudonne and his wife, Laura, of Raleigh, NC, and Daniel Dieudonne of Edison; two grandchildren, Enzo and Tatum; and two sisters, Denise Dieudonne Cesar and her husband, Andre, of Miami, FL, and Carmelle Ameda and her husband, Serge, of Miami, FL. He also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, including Anthony Francouer, Lucien Francouer, Nahja Dieudonne, Harry Cesar, Kesha Cesar, Casey Ameda, Chelsey Ameda, Kevin Petit-Phard, Paola Dieudonne, Harry Dieudonne, Carol Dieudonne, and Dan Dieudonne.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Flynn and Son/Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. A service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 12:30 p.m. at the Church of St. Joseph the Carpenter in Roselle. Interment will be at St. Gertrude's Cemetery in Colonia.
