Anthony J. Verrilli, Sr. , 85, of, Woodbridge, passed peacefully on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway.

He was born in Jersey City, lived most of his life in NJ with a short stint in New Mexico.

He proudly received his High School GED at the age of 70 years.
He was a member of the Woodbridge American Legion Post 87,
And was a veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Navy.
He was a life long truck driver, with the Bass Trucking Co. of Flemington before retiring in 24 years ago.

He is predeceased by his late wife, Anita N. Verrilli who died in 2006, and his brother, Michael Verrilli and his sister, Josephine De Bari.

He leaves behind his 3 daughters, Judy L. Verrilli of Woodbridge, Joanne Frost and her husband David of Iselin, and Toni Marie Verrilli and her fiance, James Anthony De Stefano, Jr. of Portland Oregon, and his son, Anthony Verrilli, Jr. and Dawn Midgley of Middletown, 2 grandchildren, Jeanette Frost of Iselin and David Frost of Brooklyn, his great grandson, Liam O'Donnell, his former daughter in law, Kathleen Verrilli of Carson City, NV and several nieces and nephews, and his former wife, Ginny Cohen.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Flynn and son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, with a funeral services at 7:30 p.m. Cremation will follow privately, with a committal service at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens at a day and time to be announced.
