Anthony Trapasso, of Perth Amboy passed away on Tuesday, July 17th, 2012 at the age of 65. Born in Calabria, Italy, he came to the United States and settled in the Bronx, NY, later moving to Perth Amboy in 1974 where he became a lifelong resident.



Tony was employed with the City of Perth Amboy in the Maintenance Department where he retired from in 2009 after more than 30 years of service.



He was predeceased by his parents Carmen and Rosa Talarico Trapasso. His sisters: Caterina Sanginiti (2001), Teresa Trapasso (2010), Santa Sanginiti (1976) and Concetta La Rosa (2008).



He is survived by immediate family, his Niece Anna Disario and her husband Daniel and their children Samantha and Stephen of Monmouth Junction, NJ; his niece Josephine (Jo) Buffolino and her husband Rocco and their children Matthew and Michael of Monmouth Junction, NJ and his nephew Frank La Rosa Jr. of Freehold, NJ. He is also survived by nieces and nephews in New York.



Funeral arrangements were held privately

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 28th at 10:00 am at Good Shepard-Holy Rosary Church, 625 Florida Grove Road, Hopelawn, NJ.
