Anthony M. Silva 98, of Edison, entered into eternal rest, November 3, 2018 at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison.  He was born in Portugal, and was formerly of Fords, before moving to Edison over 50 years ago.

Anthony was the Owner and Operator of Superior Oil Service in Hopelawn for 30 years before retiring in 1985.

He proudly served his country in the Army during WW II.

Anthony was predeceased by his wife Priscilla Zambor Silva in 1993, and his son Anthony Jr. in 2014.  He is survived by his son Thomas and his wife Joanne of Woodbridge and his daughter Diana Sutton of Sewaren.  He is also survived by his grandchildren Patti, Sheri, Stacey, Brian, and Kristi, his great grandchildren Scott, Danielle, Summer, Brandon, Joey, and Gianna, and his great great granddaughter Riley.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords.  Entombment will follow in Clover Leaf Memorial Park Mausoleum.  Visitation is Wednesday from 4 pm 8 pm.  In lieu of flowers contributions are requested to Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center 65 James Street, Edison, NJ 08820.
