Anthony Pojnar, 74, of Edison died March 3, 2011, at home.

Born August 13, 1936 in Newark, he resided in Edison since 1966.
Anthony was a graduate of East Side High School in Newark, and a Communicant of Guardian Angels
Church. He enjoyed traveling and going on cruises. Anthony served in the US Army.

Anthony was preceded in death by his first wife, Eleanor Pojnar, and his brother Stanley Pojnar. He is survived by his wife Jennie (nee Bongiovanni) Pojnar of Edison; his daughter Deborah
Hansen and her husband Douglas of Hillsborough; son, Kenneth Pojnar and his wife Donna of West
Keansburg; four grandchildren: Nicole, Thomas, Amanda, and Madison; brother, Robert Poyner of Mt. Pocono, PA; and sister, Dolores Weins of Edison.

Funeral services will be on Monday, March 7, 2011, at 8:30 am
from FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, NJ 08840
followed by a 9:00 am Funeral Liturgy at Guardian Angels Church in Edison. Entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway. Visitation will on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm.
