Anthony J. Lissi born November 24, 1929 died February 15, 2014. He was the son of Rose (Tahey) and Anthony George Lissi. Anthony was born at home in Ambridge, PA, and lived in Metuchen, and Iselin, NJ.

He married his high school sweetheart, Mary Ann Schwartz,then went on to become an electrician like his father, graduating from Michigan Technical Institute.

Anthony worked as an appraiser for Industrial Appraisal of Pittsburgh, PA and was transferred to NJ in 1962, where he became the regional Appraiser for the Tri State and Southern New England region. He continued to work until this very year, with positions such as electrician for Revlon Inc., of Edison, a limo driver for Boston Coach, and delivery person for Magic Printing of Avenel.

He loved music of all sources, especially country. He took his children to many concerts and hockey games where he followed the Penguins and Rangers teams.

Anthony was predeceased by his beloved wife Mary Ann in 1994 and his brother Joseph. He is survived by his children Mary Karen Horvath of Little Egg Harbor, Mark A. Lissi of Iselin, and Roseanne Talarico and her husband Raymond of East Brunswick, and his grandchildren Rob J. Horvath, and Nicole and Bryan Talarico.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday February 18, 2014 at 9:45 am at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen followed by a 10:15 am funeral liturgy at St. Francis Cathedral. Entombment will be in Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Visitation is Monday 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to Make a Wish Foundation.
