Anthony R. Giubilo Jr., 79, of Edison, passed away at Atlantic Highlands Care One in Edison on February 18, 2013. Born March 15, 1933, in Bellville, NJ, he has resided in Edison for the last 55 years. Anthony was the owner/operator of Franklin Cleaners in Belleville and a truck driver for Preston Transport in Piscataway. He was formerly a communicant of St. Matthew's Church in Edison. He enjoyed boating and fishing, taking trips to Atlantic City, playing pool and taking his wife Vita out to dinner.
He is predeceased by his daughter, Terasia Giubilo in 1994 and his brother, Palmer Giubilo.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Vita (nee Naglieri) Giubilo, of Edison; son, Anthony R. Guibilo, III and his wife Karen of Egg Harbor Twp.; daughter, Stephanie Giubilo of Jacksonville, NC; 2 grandchildren, Amy and Michelle; sister, Jetta Campora of PA; brother, Louis Giubilo of FL, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday 3-7 pm and Friday 10-12noon at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, NJ 08840. Funeral Services will be Friday 12 Noon at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to The American Heart Foundation.
