Anthony DeJesus, 59, of Perth Amboy, passed away on February 4, 2026, at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was born in Perth Amboy on February 9, 1966 and has been a lifelong resident.  He worked in receiving at Hackensack Meridian Healthcare in Old Bridge. Anthony enjoyed music, dancing and spending time with family. He loved making people laugh.

Anthony was predeceased by his sister, Cristina DeJesus.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, JoAnn DeJesus; a son, Anthony DeJesus, of Whitehouse Station; a daughter, Jasmin Cuttito, and her husband, Robert, of Succasunna; five sisters: Connie Vasquez, of Perth Amboy; Maria Rosa and her husband, Lupe, of Perth Amboy; Miriam Quintana and her husband, Angel, of Perth Amboy; and Ramonita DeJesus, of Perth Amboy; two brothers, Jesus DeJesus of Perth Amboy; and Michael DeJesus and his wife, MaryAnn, of Perth Amboy.
Visitation will be at the Flynn and Son/ Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral services will begin Wednesday at 9:45 am at the funeral home, followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Fatima Church. Entombment will follow in Alpine Cemetery.
