Annette Diskant, 91, of Monroe Township formerly of Somers, NY, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at Centre State Medical Center in Freehold, NJ.

She was predeceased by her husband, Bill, (1993); her step-son, Barry (2010); her daughter-in-law, Fran Hess (2011); her brother, Willie (2009); and her sister, Virgie (1984).

She is survived by her son, John Hess; her step-daughter, Jessica Diskant; her grandchildren: Jason, Matthew, and Jennifer Hess and Dawn Taylor and her husband Jay; her great-grandchildren, Jared Hess and Madison and Jeremy Taylor; her loving niece and part-time caregiver, Vicki Flood; her special friends, Patrick Trotta and John and Adrian Beckman. She is also survived by her sister, Lena Sharkey and several nieces and nephews.
