Anne Kovalewich (nee: Johnson), 86, formerly of Woodbridge died December 16, 2010, at Meridian Nursing and Rehab in Shrewsbury .

Born December 18, 1923, in Hopelawn, Anne resided in Woodbridge for over 50 years and The Willows Assisted Living at Holmdel for six years. With her sister Helen (Nemyo), she co-owned Fashion Trends, a woman's clothing store in Woodbridge.

Anne was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church in Perth Amboy and a member of the Alter Rosary Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, in 1997; and her sister, Helen Nemyo, in 2007.
Surviving family members include a sister-in-law, Julia Johnson, of Middletown; nieces and nephews: Bruce and Nina Johnson;
Linda Worobel; Nancy Roszkowski; and Sharon Yaczina; great- nieces and nephews: Gary Kuzniak, Dennis Yaczina; and Virginia Burdziak.

Funeral services will be on Monday, December 20, at 9:30 AM from FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ, followed by a 10:00 AM Funeral Liturgy at Holy Trinity. Interment to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Hopelawn.

Visitation will be on Sunday, December 19, from 2:00-4:00 (only).
