Obituary of Anna Tariska


Anna Tariska, 95, of Edison, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at the JFK Haven Hospice in Edison. Mrs. Tariska was born in Fords to the late George and Mary Vargo and had lived in Edison for the past fifty five years.
She was employed by Macy's in the Menlo Park Mall for twenty years before retiring in 1991. Mrs. Tariska was a member of Magyar "Hungarian" Reformed Church in Perth Amboy.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband John in 2016 and by her dear daughter Janet Tariska-Neubert, last month in October of 2019.
Surviving are her son: Robert Tariska of Edison, her sister: Virginia Vargo of Edison, her son-in-law: Albert Neubert of Woodstock, NY and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 10:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Hopelawn. Visitation hours will be held Monday from 7-9 pm. A Christian wake service will be held 7:30pm Monday evening at the funeral home.
