Obituary

Anna M. Progocky, 91, a lifelong resident of Hopelawn, passed peacefully at her daughter's home in South Amboy, on Friday, February 11, 2022.
She was born on July 26, 1930, in Rocky Hill, NJ.
She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Gordon Progocky, who died in 1996, her beloved son, Mark Progocky, who died in 2018, and her four siblings: Gaton, Gus, and Joseph Ciallella and Judith Alimonti.
She leaves behind, her beloved daughter, Debra Mahoney and her husband Glenn, of South Amboy, with whom she resided, her dear granddaughter, Danielle Van Leer and her husband David, of Lincroft, NJ, her precious grandchildren; Ava and David, and her dear sister, Rose Vraebel and her husband Steve, of South Amboy, NJ, also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, from 10 am to 11 a.m., at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863, with an 11 am funeral service with Rev. Sean Winters officiating. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery, Hopelawn.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to: the Alzheimers Association.
