Anna Dudas Hozeny 99 of Perth Amboy, entered into eternal rest, November 28, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Perth Amboy and was a lifelong resident of the city.

She was a General Sales person with Hurley Lumber Co. in Perth Amboy for 20 years before retiring in 1988.

Anna was a communicant of St. Mary's R C Church in Perth Amboy for most of her life, past president of the Altar Rosary Society, an officer with the San Salvador Catholic Daughters of America, and past president of the PTA at St. Mary's grammer School.  She was also an officer with AARP and a member of the Rent Leveling Board in Perth Amboy.

Anna was predeceased by her husband John F. Hozeny in 2005, and her son David in 1955.  She is survived by her daughters Carol Arva and her husband Michael of Menlo Park Terr., Sr. Mary Hozeny OSF of Reading, PA, and Rita Higgins and her husband James of Bridgewater, grandchildren David Arva, and Casey, and Megan Higgins, and her brother Peter Dudas of Perth Amboy.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, followed by an 11 am Funeral Liturgy at St. James R C Church in Woodbridge.  Interment will be in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.  Visitation is Friday 4-8 pm.  In lieu of flowers donations are requested to the Visiting Nurse Assn.
