Anna Hack (nee Hrabinski), 84, of Metuchen died November 23,2010, at JFK Hospital in Edison.
Born December 2,1925, in Perth Amboy, Anna has resided in Metuchen for the last 44 years. Prior to Metuchen, she lived in Jersey City and Perth Amboy.
She was a graduate of Middlesex County College and a Communicant of St. Francis Cathedral and a member of the Rosary Alter Society.
Anna is predeceased by her husband, Ernest A. Hack, who died in 1973; son Ernest E. Hack, in 1968; and sister, Irene Sciemello. Surviving family members include: son, Karl Hack and his wife Patricia of Ringwood, NJ; two daughters:
Karen Hack and her husband Wayne of Woodbridge, and Elizabeth Macan and her husband Robert of
Metuchen; nine grandchildren: Patrick, Michael, and Juliana Macan; Elizabeth, Rachel, and Rebekah Hack; Michael, Nicole, and Kaitlyn Hack; four great-grandchildren: Connor, Nicole, Brendan and Liam. Brother,
Joseph Hrabinski of Edison; and Margaret Egner of Richmond Hill, NY.
Funeral services will be on Monday, November 29, 2010, at 9:30 am from FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 319 Amboy Ave. Metchen, NJ 08840 followed by a 10:15 am Funeral Liturgy at St. Francis Cathedral in Metuchen. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery in Hopelawn. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 28, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
