Anna M. Gore's Obituary
Anna M. Gore, 90, formerly of Metuchen, passed peacefully on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at the McCarrick Care Center in Somerset.
She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, later settling in Metuchen where she raised her family.
She loved going to Atlantic City.
She was a member of the Metuchen First Aid Squad, the St. Francis Council # 3272 Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and the St. Francis School PTA.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Albert John Gore who died in 1999.
She is survived by her son, Mickey and his wife, Barbara Gore, her four daughters, Maryanne Connolly and her husband, John, Kathy McGowan and her husband, Jack, Nancy Sarnowski and her husband, Butch, and Karen Didzbalis and her husband, Al, also surviving are her 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 8:30 a.m. from the Flynn and son/ Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave. Metuchen, NJ 08840, followed by a 9 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Francis Cathedral, Metuchen. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum, Piscataway. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Msgr. Behl Endowment Fund, 528 Main St. Metuchen, NJ 08840.
