Ann Brown

(Née Walsh)

Age 76, passed away on January 21, 2025 at her home in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. Beloved wife of James Brown. Loving mother of nine children, nineteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Born April 29,1948 in Clifden, Co. Galway to Margaret Wallace and Thomas Walsh. Devoted sister of seven siblings and aunt of dozens of nieces and nephews.

Ann had affinities for the Blessed Mother and St. Jude. Avid reader, gentle gardener, and quick wit, lighting up any and every conversation. She dreamed of the sea.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00pm at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen. We will leave the funeral home on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 9:15am for a 10:00 Funeral Liturgy at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1571 Martine Ave., Scotch Plains.  Interment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
