Anna Bernadyn, 97, of Fords, passed away on December 6, 2018 at home. Anna was born in Fords and resided in Fords her entire life.
Anna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a parishioner of St. Nicholas Byzantine Rite Catholic Church in Perth Amboy.

Anna is predeceased by her parents, Mary and John Yakubik; her husband, John of 67 years; her daughter, Carol Bernadyn Hediger; brothers, John and Joseph Yakubik; and her sister, Mary Hospodar Bandics.

She is survived by her daughter, Bernice A. Medwick and her husband, Charles B. of Fords. Also surviving are her five grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth, Stephanie, Kenneth, Kurt, and Brian; and her five great-grandchildren, Ashley, Michael, Frankie, Charles John and Milo.

Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 9:30 AM from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, followed by a 10 AM Service of Divine Liturgy at St. Nicholas Byzantine Rite Catholic Church, Perth Amboy. Interment will follow in the St. John the Baptist Orthodox Cemetery, Perth Amboy. Visitation will be on Monday, December 10, 2018, from 2-6 PM, with a Parastas at 5:15 PM.
