Anna Ballas' Obituary
Anna Ballas (nee Rachel), 93, of Hopelawn died November 20, 2010, at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy.
Anna resided in Hopelawn for 40 years. She was a ceramic glazer for 20 years with Indiana General in Keasbey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George, in 1962; her sister, Helen Slivinsky; and brothers: Paul Gidos and Joseph Rachel. Surviving family members include a son, Dennis of Fords; sisters: Betty Smoyak of Edison, Doris Torchia and Julia Rothermel, both of California.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, November 24, 2010, at 10:00 AM from FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords. Entombment will follow at Clover Leaf Memorial Park Mausoleum, Woodbridge. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 23, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Anna's family.
