Ann R. McCracken (nee: Vasil), 97, passed away on July 30, 2015 at her home in Metuchen. She was born in Perth Amboy and has resided in Metuchen since 1951.
Ann was a beautician for many years in New Brunswick. She was a member of St. Francis Cathedral in Metuchen and also was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening.
She was predeceased by her husband, John, in 2002, her sisters, Helen Kundick, Mae Gatyas, Dorothy Vasil and her brothers, Nicholas, Joseph, John, Michael, and Stephen Vasil.
Surviving is her son, John, of Metuchen and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9:45 AM on Monday, August 3, 2015 at Flynn and Son / Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen with a 10:15 AM funeral liturgy at St. Francis Cathedral, Metuchen. Interment will follow at Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.
Viewing will be Sunday, 4-8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Francis Cathedral.
