Ann Maratta, 98, of Fords, NJ, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Ann spent most of her life in Staten Island before moving to St. Petersburg, FL. She later moved to Fords to be closer to family.

Ann was a devoted homemaker since the 1990s, but earlier in life, she worked as a seamstress under Betty Brite. Known for her warm heart and loving spirit, Ann cherished time with her grandchildren, teaching them to sew, cook, and play games. Her great-grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she took great joy in being part of their lives. Ann will be remembered for her strength, and deep love for her family.

Predeceasing Ann is her former husband, Henry F. Maratta; her children Fred Maratta and Lillian Maratta; and her great grandchild Vinny.

Ann is survived by her children Michael Maratta along with his wife Aimee, and Dominick Maratta; her grandchildren Brianna and Michael; her step-grandchildren Jennifer, Nicole, and Heather; and her loving great grandchildren Scarlett and Lyla and her step-great grandchildren Jimmy, Gwenaviere, Averie, Gianna, Anastasia, and Roman.
