Obituary of Anita M. Giangrande


Anita M. Giangrande (nee Roman), beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully and of natural causes, Thursday, December 24, 2020 at her home. Born in Perth Amboy, she lived in Edison for many years before moving to Fords where she resided on her own.

While raising four children, Anita held numerous jobs waitressing in various restaurants in Middlesex County, including Mama Lena's Café, where she worked for many years.

Anita is predeceased by her daughter, Lisa Bausch, and her parents, Anna (nee Haluska) and Nicholas Roman.

She is survived by her children, Diana, Anita, and Jerold; her two sisters, Dorothy and Gail; her eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Arrangements are being held under the direction of the MItruska Funeral Home in Fords. A private funeral service will be held for the family at a later date.
