Angel L. Velasquez, 81, passed away on July 9, 2013 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. He was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico and resided in Perth Amboy for the last year. Angel worked as a grinder at New Brunswick Scientific in Edison.
Surviving are his sons: Jesus "Jay" of Perth Amboy, Angel (Papo), Fernando, and Jose; his daughter, Lizette Baez of Carteret, and step-sons: Norberto, Benito and Gilbert.
A memorial service will be held 11:30 AM on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords. Inurnment will follow at St. James Mausoleum, Woodbridge. Cremation was private.
