Obituary of Andrew Prussack


Andrew Prussack, 79, of Fords, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Mr. Prussack was born in Jersey City to the late Joseph and Josephine Prussack and had resided in Fords for over fifty years.

Andrew was employed as a manager by McCormick in Edison for twenty years before his retirement.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife Tiffany in 2012, his brother Joseph Prussack, his sister Marie Gunderson and also by a niece Kathy.

Surviving are his two sons: Andrew J. Prussack of Fords, and Thomas Prussack and wife Kim also of Fords, his grandson Logan, two step grandchildren Christopher and Erica, five great grandchildren, his nieces; Colleen and husband Frank, Shannon and Lorraine, his nephew Jason, several great nieces and nephews, cousins and his in-laws Frank and Barbara Johnson and John and Diane Johnson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 2:30 pm at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Private cremation services will follow. Visitation hours will be held Saturday from 1 - 4 pm at the funeral home
