Andrew Normandia, 91, of South Amboy, passed away on July 26, 2013, at Bayshore Care Center, Holmdel. Born in Perth Amboy, he had lived in South Amboy for the past 20 years. He was a member of Good Shepherd Parish of Most Holy Rosary Church, Hopelawn. Andrew was also a member of the Holy Rosary Senior Citizens, Holy Spirit Senior Citizens and Hopelawn Memorial VFW Post #1352. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the Army. Andrew was a retired Foreman for the Perth Amboy Water Company.

Andrew was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn, who passed on February 2, 2012; a late brother, Dominick Normandia, and a sister, Marie Dobrzenski.

Andrew is survived by his two nephews, Bruce Normandia of PA and Edward Dobrzenski of MO; three nieces: Denise Dube of Fords, Donna Chilellea of NY, and Debbie Triggs of Parlin; two great-nieces and many great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at 10 AM from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, followed by a 10:30 AM funeral liturgy at Good Shepherd Parish of Most Holy Rosary Church, Hopelawn. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Hopelawn. Visitation will be held from 9-10 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
