Andre D. Perez, 22, of South Amboy, passed peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer, at RWJ University Hospital in New Brunswick, with the love of his family at his side, on Sunday, March 6, 2016.

He was born in New Brunswick, was formerly of Perth Amboy, and had resided in South Amboy for the last seven years.

Andre was a graduate of South Amboy High School and very much enjoyed playing video games, eating and just being with his family.

Andre was loved and cherished by his beloved mother, Marilyn Perez and his step-father, Miguel Mendez of South Amboy, and his four siblings: Almani Perez, Adrian Perez, Devin Perez and Avani Reid, all of South Amboy. His grandparents, America Nunez, Emilio Perez and Andrea Peeo; his dear aunties, Branlly Mendez of Perth Amboy, Clorina Perez and Margaret Peeo; and his dearly beloved cousin and best friend, Marianna Calderon of NY City.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 12, 2016, from 5 pm to 9 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave. Perth Amboy, NJ 08861. Cremation will follow privately.
