Ana L. Soto, 85, of Perth Amboy, passed away at home surrounded by her family on December 2, 2024. She was born on June 10, 1939, in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Ana was a Homemaker. She loved spending time with her family and taking care of children.  Ana also enjoyed dancing and cooking.

She was predeceased by her son, Manuel Soto, Jr.; a daughter, Maria Diaz; a grandson, Manuel Rivera; and a brother, Juan Umpierre.

Ana is survived by her husband of 62 years, Manuel Soto of Fords; a daughter, Nancy Soto Vickers, of Fords; a son, Carlos Soto, and his wife, Rebecca, of Bethlehem, PA.; four grandchildren, Darren Vickers Jr., and his wife, Melissa; Vanessa Vickers; Carlos Soto, Jr.; and Xavier Soto; two great-grandchildren, Isabella Rivera, and Cole Lee Vickers, a brother, William Umpierre, of Bayamon; and a sister, Margarita Cruz, of Bayamon.

Visitation will be on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 9-11 am at the Flynn and Son/Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Linden.
