Ana Maria Soto, 84, of Perth Amboy, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. Born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, she resided in Perth Amboy for the past 41 years. Ana Maria was a Homemaker and a member of Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish, La Asuncion Church.

She was predeceased by her husband, Pedro Soto, in 2008 and her son, Ismael Soto in 1977. She is survived by her 10 children: Myrta Flor Polidura of Perth Amboy, Mirian L. Pellot of Perth Amboy, Santa Medina of Puerto Rico, Reynaldo Soto of Perth Amboy, Manuel Soto of Perth Amboy, Luz E. Morales of Puerto Rico, Carmen M. DelValle of Texas, Nayda I. Soto of Perth Amboy, Mary Jane Soto of Puerto Rico, and Madeline Barreto of Perth Amboy; 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters.

Funeral services will be on Monday, May 19, 2014, at 10:45 am followed by an 11:30 Funeral Liturgy at Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish, La Asuncion Church, Perth Amboy. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00-6:00 pm at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen, NJ 08840. Interment will be in St. James Cemetery, Woodbridge.
