Amanda Aleman, 99, of Perth Amboy, passed away on February 7, 2015 at her home. She was born in Cuba and resided in Perth Amboy since 1970. Amada worked as a cashier at the Aleman Furniture store in Perth Amboy. She was a communicant at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Perth Amboy. Amada was predeceased by her husband, Adolfo in 1990.
Surviving are her son, Raimundo and his wife Dalita of Sayerville, her daughters, Caridad Miranda and her husband Orberto of Perth Amboy, and Elsa Aleman of Manalapan, 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great- grandchildren, 3 sisters residing in Cuba and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 9:30 AM Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave, Perth Amboy with a 10 AM funeral liturgy at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Perth Amboy. Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge. Viewing will be held, Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
