Alma Marie Erickson, 91, of Fords, passed away at home on January 3, 2025.  Alma was born in Fords to Nels Peter and Marion Miller and was a life-long resident.  Alma was a Sewing Machine Operator for Princeton Shirt Factory, Hopelawn, for 20 years then worked at Revlon in Edison and Holmdel before retiring in 1995.

She loved painting, cruises and family vacations over the years from winter trips to Hobart NY and fall foliage trips to Minerva NY along with summers in Wildwood NJ and countless summer weekends 'Up The Cabin' in Middle Valley NJ.  She belonged to the ACME club where Wednesday nights were always fun!

Alma was predeceased by her former husband, Everett "Sutz" Erickson (2012); her grandson, Brian; her brothers, Robert and Christian Miller; and her sister, Nancy Jochen.

Alma is survived by her children, Gloria J. Roman (Ernest), Linda Wojtowicz (Steven), and Alan H. Erickson (Maureen); her grandchildren: Craig, Todd, Kelly, Katelyn and Kourtney; her great-grandchildren: Connor, Mackenzie and Finneas; and her care giver of 2+ years, Samantha Sukra, CHA.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Flynn and Son/Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 10 AM at Flynn and Son/Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, Rev. Fabian Villalobos officiating.  Cremation will follow privately.
