Alice M. Cohen, 91, of Metuchen, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014, at J.F.K. Medical Center in Edison.  Born on Ellis Island, she had resided in Metuchen for the past 64 years and was formerly of Elmer, NJ.  Alice was a long-standing member of Temple Neve Shalom.

She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Paul A. Cohen in 2008.  She is survived by her daughters, Leslie Cohen Schulman, MD and her husband, Howard and Judi Cohen-Wade and her husband, Don; her brother, Samuel Rubenstein; her nephews, Irv, Perry, and David Rubenstein; and her caretaker/companion, Donna Adamcjzk.

Funeral services will take place at Temple Neve Shalom, 250 Grove Avenue, Metuchen, NJ 08840,  at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2014.  Following the service, interment will be in Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. Shiva will be observed Wednesday through Monday with services at 7:30 p.m. each evening.  In observance of the Sabbath, there will be no Shiva on Friday evening.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Flynn and son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen, NJ 08840.
